In regards to the Gathering, I'd like to suggest that people do their versions of the Gathering mascots or one's own gargoyle characters all trying to get to Chicago. If you've ever since the movie "The Blues Brothers", the last part of the movie was a huge car chase trying to get to Chicago so I think that would be a great tie-in, considering that the G08 mascots are based on the Blues Brothers.
